Why it works: The homeowner searching at 2 a.m. wants to know two things: will someone come, and what will it cost. Most HVAC sites answer neither until business hours. An honest flat-rate number in seconds answers the second question on the spot, and a visitor with a price has a reason to book now instead of shopping.

The challenge

In Phoenix in July, a broken air conditioner is not an inconvenience. It is an emergency with a thermometer. The homeowner searching at 2 a.m. wants two things: someone who will come, and some idea of what it will cost. Most HVAC websites answer with a promise to call back during business hours, which is the trade's version of a shrug.

That pattern wastes money as well as goodwill. Paid clicks land on a page that asks for a name and phone number and gives nothing back. The homeowner fills out several of those forms, takes the first call back, and every other company paid for a lead it never had a chance to win.

What we built

We redesigned bleuwaveacrepair.com from the ground up to turn a 2 a.m. air-conditioning failure into a booked job before a competitor's phone rings.

The centerpiece is the Instant Estimate, a real-time pricing engine that gives a homeowner an honest flat-rate number in seconds, instead of a promise to call back. It is the kind of tool many HVAC sites advertise and few actually run. Here it is the main event, not a button in the footer.

Underneath, the site is a fast custom build with a secure database. In plain terms: pages render fast on a phone with one bar of signal, and the pricing data lives in a real database instead of a spreadsheet someone forgets to update. ServiceTitan is part of the stack, so requests reach the system the crews already work from.

The design is conversion-first. Every screen has one job, and that job is getting the homeowner from "it's 94 degrees in here" to a booked visit with as few taps as possible. That is what website redesign should mean: not a new coat of paint, but a new route to the phone.

Why it works

A number is the most persuasive thing on an HVAC website. "Call for pricing" asks the customer to take a risk. A flat-rate number removes it. The visitor knows what the visit costs before anyone gets in a truck, and has a reason to book now instead of opening three more tabs. Our conversion rate optimization playbook explains why removing the unknown does more than any button color ever will.

Honest beats low. The engine gives a flat-rate figure, not a teaser price that triples at the door. That protects the company as much as the customer: fewer arguments in driveways, fewer one-star reviews about surprise charges.

Speed matters most when the customer is miserable. A person standing in a hot house will not wait for a slow page. A fast build is not a vanity metric here; it is the difference between a booked job and a back button. More on that in our conversion optimization service.

It belongs to a family. The AC repair site sits alongside Bleuwave's main home services site, a commercial HVAC site, an HVAC installation offer page, and a building controls site. Each speaks to one buyer, and together they cover the trade from a single repair to a rooftop unit.

What's on the site

  • The Instant Estimate: an honest flat-rate number in seconds
  • A conversion-first layout with one job per screen
  • A fast custom build over a secure database
  • ServiceTitan in the stack
  • Local marketing aimed at the Phoenix metro

If you run an HVAC company in San Antonio or the Hill Country, the summer is just as long and the customer is just as hot. Estimate a rebuild with the website redesign calculator, look at Google Local Services Ads for the calls that come in before a site visit, or compare this build with Bleuwave Plumbing's emergency triage.

    San Antonio, TX · Nationwide

Heating and air contractors do not need a portfolio piece. They need the phone to ring in July. So this one is built the way the trade buys: a plain promise, a form on the first screen, and a site live in seven to ten days. A full-stack custom build over a secure database, with the estimate request wired straight through rather than left in an inbox — and written and ranked to be found by the contractors it was built for.

Questions about the Bleuwave HVAC project

What a build like this involves, what it costs to find out, and how it would work for your business.

Can you build an instant estimate tool like this for my HVAC company?
Yes. Bleuwave's Instant Estimate returns an honest flat-rate number in seconds. Yours would run on your own price book and service rules. We start by documenting how you price common repairs, because the tool is only as trustworthy as the numbers behind it. Then we build it into your site so the estimate is the first thing a visitor sees.
Won't showing prices online make customers shop around?
They are already shopping around; the question is whether you are part of it. A homeowner with a price in hand has less reason to open another tab. A flat-rate figure also screens out people who were never going to buy, so your technicians spend more time on jobs and less time on driveway negotiations.
Do I need a whole new website to add an instant estimate?
Not always. If your current site is fast and well built, an estimate tool can often be added to it. If it is slow, hard to edit, or buried in plugins, a rebuild usually costs less over time than patching. The free plan tells you which camp you are in before you spend anything.
Can the website send HVAC requests into ServiceTitan?
ServiceTitan is part of this build's stack, and Bleuwave's main site books straight into it. What is possible for you depends on your account and the access you can grant. We check that first, so the quote reflects a real connection rather than a form that emails someone who is asleep.
Do you build HVAC websites for San Antonio contractors?
Yes. We are based in San Antonio and build for HVAC companies here and across the Hill Country, where summers are long enough that a broken AC is an emergency too. The approach is the same: price on the first screen, a fast page, and every request routed to a person or the dispatch board.
